Good day,
Very pathetic and dishonest service received from Nikon Service center Ahmedabad.
There was fungus in the 200-500mm F5.6 lens. There was no other problem with the lens. Hence lens given to Nikon service center Ahmedabad for service.
Service order # AHM-037146. Did not receive any call from the service center regarding any other problem in the lens. collected the lens and went on outing after 2 days and observed that while changing the aperture from F5.6 to higher number, showing error in the camera. Again submitted the lens to the service center to check. On submitting, the service center replied saying there is a mechanical problem and part needs to be replaced which will cost INR 14570. Service order # AHM-037278. This problem has clearly happened at the time of previous service at the center and now they are asking me to pay for it.
What better way to fool customers and make money.Looking for the support, Awaiting reply.
