Yesterday I went to the Income Tax Department in Bangalore. I showed my documents. They were very helpful and gave me the contact numbers of the concerned Tax officials to contact. They told me that the Income Tax Department would intervene on my behalf against NTT DATA.
What sort of company refuses to provide form 16, provident fund details, and reports paying a months salary to an employee to the government when actually they have not paid.
How many days does it take to provide a form 16, unless they have something to hide ?
Why does the American or Japanese management put up with this nonsense ? It may be time to get a lawyer.
NTT DATA Pune refused to give relieving letter. It took 2 weeks after filing a complain on global NTT DATA web site to get letter.
In NTT DATA Pune if your boss is corrupt it is better just to leave the company because HR will turn a blind eye.
These people will lock you out of the building and then say, Oh you did not complete the notice period. You did not complete the leaving formalities. The process is that your boss has to sign off before leaving formalities go forward. It is a type of slavery as an future HR in India will request the same documents.
