I booked a cab on 19th of February from mumukshu bhavan Varanasi to Varanasi airport.CRN [protected]. After boarding the cab in route the driver ask me to pay cash. Normally I pay with ola postpaid. Indistrip as the driver asked for cash I tried to change the mode of payment to cash. Unfortunately the app said it can't be done after booking a cab. I was already late to catch my flight. After reaching the airport I found that my postpaid account was debited with 690/-. I show that to the driver and said my account has already been debited then I can't pay cash. But he insisted for cash payment stating that he has already said this to me. I could not argue with him because of language. I am not well worst with Hindi and he do not know English or Tamil. I asked the driver then how come I get my already debited amount. He said I can right to the ola customer care and get my refund. Believing him I paid him cash. I didn't have enough cash with me and I asked driver whether you have GPAyor Paytm. He said he doesn't have any such facility and I should pay only cash. For a fraction of a second I thought of contacting ola customer care. But as it was already delayed to catch my flight and I was running short of time I had no other option than to get cash from my wife and pay it to the driver. After reaching daily I just contacted through app and launched complaint stating that my account has been debited as well as the driver demanded cash. Till date nothing has metalised. Everyday I get an SMS and a mail stating that I should pay with penalty. Whatever explanation I have given in mail has fallen in deaf ears. Hope this issue will be resolved at the earliest time so that I am not being harassed by frequent emails and demanding WhatsApp messages from multivarious numbers. Was this information helpful? |
