I booked a ride on Ola on 5 Novemeber 2022, 12:10 pm CRN: [protected]
We were looking for an auto but only a cab was available. So we booked a mini cab. It was a wagon R. The fare was calculated to be about 140 rupees for the ride. We entered the car and soon realised that the driver was trying to take the longer route to the destination that was showing 10 minutes to reach initially. But he took more than 20 minutes to get us there. He was deliberately skipping the routes that the map was showing. He was not taking the routes that google maps was showing. He did not take two correct turns which were being shown on the map. We had to tell him exactly when to take a turn. Otherwise he was just going as he pleased. He kept saying that it was not showing on his map, but I could clearly see his phone and it was showing the correct route. He just kept missing the turns on purpose. He also hit a bike rider. I am glad that he was not badly hurt. His driving was unsafe. It was a very horrible experience. And we reached our destination in more that 20 minutes and the fare charged was 431 rupees. It was very disappointing experience. We tried to contact with the company and their customer service is just horrible. The customer care number was being shown invalid.
Another major issue was that the fare was being shown only to the driver and not on our app. Why is that so? We did not receive and message on the app itself that could show how much we were being charged. This company is not safe and is very irresponsible I found out today. I would never recommend Ola to anyone. It was a very unsafe experience. The driver was driving unsafely and cab was very untidy. Please save other customers from this horrible company. They don't care about the customer at all. PLEASE help me get a refund for the extra money that was charged from me unfairly. Was this information helpful? |
