I am having a Ola Account with Registered mobile number +91 [protected]. When I go for updation of my eMail ID, I get the error message "This mail ID is already in use by another. Please use another ID". However, I do not have any other eMail ID.
In this regard, I may inform you that I was earlier having the Ola Account with my the then mobile No.+91 [protected]. It was an official mobile given to me by my employer. On my retirement, in July 2018, I had surrendered the said official mobile to my employer and has been using my personal mobile No.+91 [protected] ever since. Hence, from July 2018 onwards, all my accounts were detached from the official mobile (+91 [protected]) and linked to the new personal mobile, i.e. +91 [protected]. Thus, it could be that my Ola Account with RMN +91 [protected] might have been linked to my eMail ID, i.e. ramarao.[protected]@gmail.com which is preventing me from updating the said mail ID to my Ola Account with my present RMN +91 [protected].
In view of the above, please suggest a way out as to how to overcome the eMail ID updation issue being faced by me now...
A ticket with No.5477673 was raised against this issue and the reply given was as follows:
Upon checking the records we see that the email id ramarao.[protected]@gmail.com is registered with the number 94XXXXXX35. We regret to inform you that we are unable to help you with regard to the email id. In their website, I am again facing the same issue while trying for email ID updation, i.e. this ID is already in use by another...
On replying as follows:
You are only confirming that my email ID ramarao.[protected]@gmail.com is linked to the RMN 94XXXXXX35 which was already mentioned by me in my mail. Despite detailing the reasons in my mail informing you that the said mobile number also was in my use upto June/July 2018, you have not provided any resolution to overcome the issue. I am ready to provide any confirmation/certificate from the present holder of the mobile 94XXXXXX35 should you require for resolving the present issue.
Please consider the issue properly and provide a resolution early...
M/s OLA are again expressing helplessness to resolve the issue
