I am a seasonal trader. What I experienced in olymp trade's platform is even more shocking.
The manipulation is not happening just in the last 1 to few seconds, but they even manipulate the candle time.
I will share my experience here so people know what they are getting into.
I placed a trade at an exact start of a new candle that is the 59th second if the candle, which means the trade should close along with the candle at 1sec (the last second of the current candle on which I have placed my trade given that it's a 1 min chart), however the trade went on even when the next candle started and it finally closed at around 57th seconds of this next candle exactly at 2 points below my price opening quote resulting in a loss.
Moreover, the trade data still shows 1 minute trade. But I can confirm that the trade didn't close exactly after 1 minute, because I had been watching the candle all the time.
It's not even milliseconds difference because the price was way above my opening quote price, and so it took almost 3-4 seconds for the price to fall down 2 points below my quote price to result in a loss.
I was so sure about this unethical manipulation that I just withdrew my money and stopped using the platform.
With regards to customer service, it's most certainly pathetic. They never respond within 24, 48 or even 72 hours.
In fact I have never received replies to some of my emails. So, obviously I have very little to believe that olymp trade is ethical whereas there are a lot of factors obviously pointing at their unethical practices.
They say they are regulated but the country they are regulated in itself is in question! Moreover they have multiple companies registered, and are not even operating under their olymp trade trading name.
So, it's best to stay away from such brokers. It's obvious that such companies feed on your greed.
So are there any good, ethical binary options or trade brokers out there? No, none.
All of them do dirty tactics. It's just that their manipulation methods and levels will be different depending upon the system they use.
But you will eventually get cheated, no matter what. So if you are looking for a get quick rich scheme, better buy a lottery my friend.
