I strictly advice you all never opt for a connection from ORTEL COMMUNICATIONS LTD. Neither Cable TV nor Internet services. They won't provide all the TV channels and the modem they supply are the worst one even though you go for 2-3 changes of their supplied modem; the problem you face is still the same.
Moreover, the word they give of the failure being rectified in 24hours is just to make customers fool. This is a regular practice to call them 2-3 times per day atleast spending Rs10-15 approx for even 5days or more; but still no response.
Finally you'll be fed-up. So better give away your thought of taking Ortel connections and if you are using then disconnect it.

Ortel — Worst service
I am the user of ortel broadband with customer id 573583.my modem is off-line from 1st may, I complained many times to customer care..but they do not give any responds.there no rectification from ortel side.
I also complained through this site..i did not get any rectification.
