DD VALIDITY EXPIRED

Respected sir/madam,

I have applied my passport on 21'st April and police verification was over in the month 0f May ..but yet i didn't receive my passport. when i enquired online this has been displayed.
Following objection has been raised on Your file
"YOUR DD VALIDITY EXPIRED PLEASE FURNISH FRESH VALIDITY DD TO THIS OFFICE"

Issue of passport of my son

My son's application is lying without any action for more than six months. In between they lost the application form. We last met the Regional Passport Officer who promised immediate action. But till now no action taken. They donot even update information on the Status in the site. I request anybody who has a bitter experience at Chennai Passport Office unite and lodge a RTI....

Non-receipt of passport

It is more than 8 months since I submitted the passport application, still I did not receive the passport. Police verification was done and the report was clear. I raised my grievances with the Passport Grievance cell, but did not get any reply from them....

worst performance by chennai passport office

i am varadharaj. i have studied engineering in perundurai but, my native place is in salem. so i have to get two police verification forms. i had applied for passport on dec/2006.

on april, i saw my passport status in april 2007. so, i went to chennai and wait in the enquiry queue from 6am. the enquiry time is on 9.30 to 12.30 am. but, the enquiry officers came on 10.15am. but they closed enquiry by 12.30 sharply.in that enquiry,...
