Passport Office Dehradun — passport application status

i have applied the passport for my wife and son through psk, kathgodam.

appointment date - 14.12.2018

file no. - dd01c[protected]

status - police verification is under review ( since 26.12.2018)

name - khubaib ahmed warsi
appointment date - 14.12.2018
application no. - 18-[protected]
file no. - dd01c[protected]

status- passport application submited successfuly along with applicable fees and supporting document.

Pls update what is the issue for being late in process.
I have confirmed from sp office naintal that they have sent sofiya naaz's verification report to passport office dehradun but there is no further process showing as mentioned above.
