Passport Office Mumbai — pending with police

The online process for passport submission is very quick and easy. The passport gets stuck to the police verification. I visited dadar police station 2 times. Submitted all my documents. Verified with original documents. Clicked pic also. The police came to my residence - of course i was not there as i am working full day. My neighbors signed also. This is more than a month now and i have still not received any information. I have paid extra for sms.

Police report has been submitted by dindoshi police station, Mumbai and sent to sp office,
District Mumbai for review

From last week I have given same status
What does that I mean I don't known so please
Guide what to do.
