[Resolved]  Pigeon Appliances / Stovekraft — Cooker blast-issue pending

I have purchased a Pigeon make pressure cooker (combo ) from Amazon with following details.on
Item: Pressure cooker Pigeon by stovekraft induction base 4 in 1 starter kit
Amazon order ID[protected] Dated 7 August 2020
Package contains- 5L induction base aluminium cooker 1 No, 3 L induction base aluminium cooker 1 No. Pressure cooker lid 1 No. (common for both cookers), Induction base non stick aluminium kadai- 1 No. and induction base non stick aluminium dosa pan 1 No.
Warrantee 5 years
On[protected], while preparing rice, the lid of the pressure cooker has failed with a heavy sound, handle broken into pieces and lid has bent in 2 places. The lid was thrown off from the cooker body . Faber make Gas stove and some kitchen items are damaged. All the content in the cooker was thrown away throughout the kitchen including roof . It was a failure due to manufacturing defect. Due to poor quality of material and manufacturing, non adherence to the standard safety procedures creep has happened in material and cooker failed.
As persons were away from the spot, escaped from fatalities and injuries. Gasket, whistle and safety valve were in good condition. Cooker lid blasted even before the steam produced. The cooker body became oval.
It may be noted that, from the review of Pigeon induction base cookers in various websites like Amazon, flipkart many pressure cookers have failed. No action has been taken by the company to improve quality.
On[protected] a complaint was lodged with stovekraft customer service and requested to carry out root cause analysis for the failure.
The response from the company was very poor and they were not at all serious in resolving the issue.
After much persuasion on[protected], agency replaced the pressure cooker with new one of different model and unanimously declared that the issue has been resolved. No warrantee card issued for the replacement cooker. The cooker cannot be used without warrantee as it is like bomb and may fail anytime. I suspect they have supplied substandard item.
The failed cooker was with induction base, whereas new replaced cooker is without induction base and without warrantee. As a responsible consumer I requested to furnish the root cause analysis report of the failed cooker and the action taken by the company to overcome this defect. Also company has to compensate the losses caused to me, damages to gas stove and other kitchen items due to failure of cooker. Company representative has already witnessed the damages.
On[protected], I have again complained the issue, for which there is no action till date.

There is no response from company, clearly indicates they are not interested in resolving the issue.
I am preparing documents to take the issue to inspectorate of factories and boilers who are the controlling / inspection authority for cooker manufacturers.

How they can mark complaint as resolved.. Please read the following part of the complaint.
