I booked a movers and packers services with Professional Relocation Packers and Movers (PRP Group) on 17th June 2020 for the Packing, loading, transportation, unloading & unpacking services of my household items from Gurgaon, Haryana to Rudrapur, Haryana for the date of 4th July 2020. I was given quotation of Rs 25000 including everything with insurance charges extra. I paid him Rs 500 advance. I specifically asked the marketing executive Mr. Rahul Sharma who came to my home and showed me survey that does it include GST and everything he said yes. He told me that a seperate closed container/trailer will take my household goods only. And then on 4th July 2020 during the day of transit I asked for an insurance of Rs 100000 at a price of Rs 3000. And when everything was packed and loaded in a truck and that too not a container and when they were about to leave around 5 pm I paid them 15000 cash. And then I got a call from PRP office and they were asking for full payment and this time they have added extra amount of Rs 4500 in the name of GST. I told them there marketing executive has given me quotation including GST. I told them to confirm with him. They said that they'll do it and will call me back again. By that time truck had left for the destination. Around 10 pm I got a Pdf copy of bill from the Marketing executive Mr. Rahul Sharma of Rs. 33000/- I tried calling him but he didn't picked it up and then I called PRP's office ([protected]) and try to reason with him that I was told total charges of Rs 25000/- and Insurance extra but they refused it and told me that you have to pay the whole amount right now and then only your goods will be sent to your location.

Next day morning I again got a call from PRP office that truck is 30 min away from your house and will reach your home only when you deposit whole amount in a bank account they shared ( by name of Manjeet Kumar and not in their company a/c). After negotiating at 30K I deposited balance amount of Rs 10, 500 in that account as my household goods was with them. And I was asked to pay rest Rs. 4000 to the driver.

Now post depositing the balance amount truck reached to my destination after half an hour. They labour which accompanied truck driver was very unprofessional in unloading and unpacking goods. I called PRP office about that and in response they clearly told me that they are not responsible for unpacking of goods.

After all this, I tried to check their GST number details on GST portal. It was stated that their GSTIN (27CDIPM8454R1ZI) has been cancelled dated 25/11/2019.

I was cheated by charging extra money of Rs. 2000 in the name of GST, truck instead of container and poor unpacking services.
