To the concerned at Reliance Fresh Consumer Complaints.
"Reliance Superior Grade" rice we purchased from the Jai Bharathinagar outlet. The rice bag was full of worms and some rotten stuf[censored] see in the pics. The top layer looked good and as we tried to empty the rice in a storage container, the worms and the dirt started showing up. we panicked and i called to place a complaint at the reliance fresh consumer center which is in Mumbai, the agent answered my call was so cool about the incident and said someone will look into your compliant within 7 working days. i was taken aback and told him that we had consumed some of it and it could be a medical emergency..but still, he insisted i wait for 7 working days. and after about 4 to 5 days of wait and repeated calls, someone came from the reliance store and took pics and said we will take up the issue..But when i told him that i am going to the consumer forum, he immediately said, don't sir we will give you a replacement of that bag of rice. I told him Rs. 650 that the bag costs is not the worry for me, but expect a proper response and not treat a customer so cheap as by saying will replace the bag of rice, i felt insulted and refused the offer that was so cheap for the life of a human being. I don't understand the quality checks these products go through. Reliance fresh has put our health and life as stake. Reliance Fresh. Now it is almost 5months since we complained and sadly no action has been taken. Now we fret to buy anything from Reliance Fresh.
