My plan is 150 mbps and I’ve been receiving the speed 15-20 mbps for one week. After many calls to the Jio customer care and service managers & heads, it was finally resolved. The issue was of low power from the back end, then to the box installed in my building, and thus my router was not getting enough power.
Not a week has passed since the above mentioned issue got resolved, I am again back to the same issue. Today, on 16th July’23 between 5:30~6:00 PM, I heard few guys working at the box installed in my building, they might be installing a new connection, or some other maintenance. As soon as they left, I noticed sudden drop in the speed, 15-20 mbps instead of 150 mbps.
Called the service manager Shailesh Tripathi, he answered my phone on 5th call. He took it very casually, saying someone might be doing something, I’ll get it checked. But there is no response from him even after one hour. This is unacceptable that they are providing me 15 mbps speed and charging for 150 mbps.
I want Jio to:
1) Fix this speed issue, permanently, immediately.
2) Return me the money for the days I was provided lower speed than my subscription.
I posted on linked in as well, but there was neither any response from Jio, nor they improved. Thus, I’m writing the complaint in this forum, they might hear the customer’s concern.
