I booked a Renault Duster, (85 optional) in Sept. 2012 at Vardhman Cars, Faridabad ( Then Renault Dealer).
Finally got the delivery in February 2013. Registration Number- HR51 AV 1329, in the name of Mrs. Saroj Kumari (my mother).
With in first 2 months of purchase, problems started with the Vehicle:
Vibrations front, AC button hard, Gear not smooth, sound in doors, horn buttons not working properly.
I was regular for service at Vardhman Cars, Faridabad.
With time the problem increased, but Service Center did not do anything till Car was in warranty. And after crossing 40000km running, they clearly said, things are chargeable.
Now, October 2016, I have been facing a new problem in car, "LATE START IN MORNING", for the same I visited the Renault authorized service center several times, they suggested me a number of things, which didnt worked:
1. They asked me to change the battery, I did that, but the problem remained the same.
2. They asked me to get the 4 glow plugs changed, I got them changed at the service center.
BUT THE PROBLEM REMAINED, AS IT IS.
I got the car serviced in Oct. 2016, (approx.) at the Renault Authorized Service Center, after I received the Car, since then the Navigation System Screen is in HANGED condition, it starts by itself and goes off by itself, in place of correcting the software issue, Service Center suggested to get it replaced with the new one, costing about Rs. 70, 000/-
Now, in December 2016, there occurred a new problem, BACK SMOKE in engine.
The service center suggested me to get the Engine Changed, and the cost would be around Rs. 4.5 Lakhs.
Current running of the vehicle, Date: 03/01/2017, is 98000KM approx.
Renault is a World Wide known brand for the quality, I moved ahead to purchase the car DUSTER, after getting green signal from my friends in Germany, who ar using DUSTER.
As per the brand, the Engine can not fail at such a early age, of just 98000km, after taking all the necessary precautions.
Service center has pulled hands back for helping out and connecting to the right person in the company.
For the same, please guide / suggest, how the company RENAULT can help me out. The product I received has manufacturing defect in Engine.
Upon receiving your email reply, I would send the scan copy of the Invoices of the Service Center and RC.
In India, a consumer finally makes it to Consumer Court, for the unresolved issues with any company.
Waiting for your Kind Reply, I have no other Car to use, facing big trouble.
