We have received your mail detailing your solution on our complaint. We wish to inform you that we have purchased the product worth of ~rs 2.25 lacs and you are offering me the charity of 25% discount on the repairs of the product which is having the same problem two times in the period of 1.5 years. First complaint was lodged within the time of 7 month from the date of purchase. As the period of guarantee and warranty was going on, i was asked to bring the product at the service center and to wait for another 10 days due to shortage of damaged part. After 15 days i was informed that your tv has been repaired and you can collect the tv from service center. We have been given delivery with the assurance that such type of problem occurs once in lifetime and we need not to worry and tv will perform without any failure. But just after the two month of expiry of guarantee period same problem at same place in tv reoccurs and now we are asked to pay for the defect repaired 7 months ago for the same tv.

Dear sir, we would like to inform you that i have purchased the tv with the brand name of "samsung" and had paid the huge amount of more that 2 lacs on account of its brand value and name otherwise same tv with the same features of other local brand are very much available at approximate 40% of the amount paid for this set. I have not purchased any iind grade brand. We chosen samsung brand because of its name and goodwill. If the product is able to survive for only 7 month then why company having worldwide reputation of quality and assurance is manufacturing such type of defective pieces and selling at such high prices. The purchase price of the tv may be negligible from the company point of view but it is a huge amount what an individual buyer has paid.

So far as durability of the project is concerned, problem must not come within the 7 month of its purchase. Quality of the product becomes questionable immediately but due to inherent feature of any electronic item i remained silent and get it repaired. But when same problem at same place is reoccurring just immediately after 7 month of first repair then its not appreciable and affordable. It is clear case of negligence and use of inferior quality product at the end of company or service center. Same problem, same defect at same place again can not be a matter of co incidence.

We have approached samsung center again this time and was asked to lodge complaint with the center. We are not supposed to pay for the damages which has not been duly repaired properly at the time of first complaint. If it was duly repaired then there was no chance of re occurrence of same defect. Either it has not been repaired or the parts used at the time of repair was not up to mark quality product or the product had some inherent manufacturing defect.in either of the case customer is not supposed to pay for the negligence / low quality product/ manufacturing defect. When we noticed the same issue in our tv set second time i approached the distributor and service center. We chased them for more than one month and suddenly someone from your office called me and offer the charity of 25% as discount. Sir when replaced/substituted item is not surviving even for one year then what is the reliability of so prestigious brand. We have strong apprehension that my tv was not repaired properly at the time of its first complaint or it had some inherent manufacturing defect which need to be replaced by new one.

I have been misguided by the the samsung center/ dealer. We would again like to mention that we have invested in the brand value and amount of 2.25 lacs is not petty amount. We are now not interested in repair of fault and want replacement of my existing tv set with new one without incurring even a single paisa or take back your defective piece and return my full amount.

At last we rejected your charity offer of the 25% and keeping in view the reputation of the brand and inconveniences faced by us we again request you to kindly replace the tv set. Further if my grievance is not addressed properly then i will be forced to raise my claim before the appropriate authority much against my wishes.
