Subject – complaint regarding the newly bought samsung washing machine

Dear sir/ madam
This is to bring to your kind notice, that i bought a samsung washing machine (Fully automatic), model no. Wa90j5710sg/tl on date[protected] from hariom retail pvt ltd, lajpat nagar, delhi for which the invoice copy has been attached.
This machine was unpacked and installed by an engineer from samsung on 2nd december 2018. The engineer also advised us to buy a machine base stand as well as a water filter which were also provided and installed by him, paid for by us.
Apparently, i am writing this letter to inform you that from the first full wash it was noticed that the clothes are not getting washed properly. They were found twisted with dirt in between their creases, some of them faded after a few washes with cloth fibers coming off from them, the natural shine of the cloth is now gone.
Detergent has been found in the machine box many a times after the whole wash cycle is finished. That came as a surprise to us, because the box is made to put the detergent only. We have taken pictures as a proof.
We have complained 4-5 times and every-time a new executive arrived from samsung, but no one gave us a genuine sensible answer for our problem. Some of them agreed to us that such problems are there to some extend when we showed them the pictures and the clothes fibers that gets collected in the filter after every wash. They saw our spoiled clothes, cloth fibers which we have collected, took pictures of them, but no one told us the reason and no one gave us a written status. They told us that it’s a company policy to not give anything in writing their observations. However very unprofessionally, everyone gave a different suggestion.

• the first engineer who responded to my complaint said that he would need to change some part of the machine which i did not allow.
• the other one said use warm water to wash the clothes instead of the normal/cold.
• some other came and said, turn around the clothes and then wash, otherwise the dirt/fibers will accumulate on the front sides of the clothes.
• other one said don’t put the detergent in the box directly, instead mix it in water in a mug and then pour in the machine.
It did not made sense but we still tried some because we were in a desperate situation. Nothing helped, nothing, the situation till date is the same. Many of our new clothes have lost their shine and now we are washing them ourselves manually. Lastly an official (Mr. Sunil) from samsung informed that an engineer would come and do a wash up process. It was done in april 2019 by an engg named sahil, that too on quickwash settings. Yet again on asking to provide his findings in written, he refused to do so saying it is not a company policy.

We called your customer care senior executive and his response was also very unprofessional. He told us either take a replacement for another washing machine or take a voucher. It is very clear that we do not want a samsung washing machine now. Neither we are willing to buy anything else from samsung. We’ve had enough harassment. We have lost faith in samsung. We want our money back. Our trust on the product and the company has faded away also after the irresponsible behavior for all the complains we have done. It is not an apparel shopping we have done from a shopping mall that we take a voucher back.
We are talking about a huge amount which we have invested as a middle class family who was planning to buy a fully automatic washing machine from a few years.
I would like to mention here that i have neither received even a single written observation report from samsung even after multiple complaints and requests, nor any of your technicians actually know what the problem is.
I would request samsung to provide me 100% refund of the amount as per the bill within an appropriate time period else i am forced to take a legal action.
