I purchased my galaxy s7 edge on 15/10/2016 and at the time of purchase i was promised a one time screen replacement for 990inr.
I am a phone software developer and
I change the software of my phone all the time, which is against samsung's policy and hence my warranty is void now.
I dont want my warranty anyway. Its never been useful to me in my life. Because i take care of my electronic devices with care.
But samsung promised to replace the screen of the phone once within 12 months in case of external damage or other issues with the screen.
I accidentally dropped my phone and broke its glass. I was promised a one time screen replacement at the time of purchase and now they tell me that we dont do that for you since you installed unauthorised software..
Come on samsung, what does installing unauthorized software has to do with accidentally dropping a phone on the floor and shattering the screen?
Why wont you replace my screen?
Its clearly under 12 months from purchase.
It was nowhere written in the samsung offers page about one time screen replacement being linked with my warranty!! It said one time replacement will be done within one year.
There are no exchange offers for my phone now. If i sell the phone i wont get back the full money i paid while purchasing.
The screen replacement without offer costs 15000inr.
There are no offers to buy galaxy s8 at this point with an exchange of s7 edge.
I also cannot use my phone at its current condition. I purchased a flagship with the trust in the brand. Now its not even keeping its promises
So please give me what you promised at the time of purchase and stop this warranty void responses.
