Samsung india has given me sleepless nights wrt to the split unit purchased on 27th april, 2017. Mediocre customer service who fail to understand the issue the customer is going through and the worst part is the follow-up. A commitment of replacement of the faulty unit or refund was given by the customer care supervisor highlighting the fact that i have raised constant concerns on the unit from date of purchase.
The unit has been a decorative piece since purchase and the customer is at the mercy of samsung india for no fault of his.
The first issue encountered with the unit was the nasty odour when turned on from day. The technician claimed that most samsung units have this smell as it has to do with the chemical coating of the coil. The smell became worse and so, a complaint raised have requested for the coil to be replaced.
Post the replacement of the coil the cooling of the unit has significantly reduced and as on date the unit is a decorative piece.
I have regularly hounded samsung to have this issue addressed. The technician claimed that the unit was ok without any issue upon inspection and moving on afar a week another technical claims that the ac gas canister was damaged during installation of the new coil.
This is a nightmare scenario for a customer. Hard earned money spent on what was considered a quality company selling quality products. I regret purchasing this unit and will refrain and advice others from purchasing any of samsung's product because their afar sales support is appalling to say the least.
A desirable and just resolution will in having the faulty unit replaced or a refund as the unit is genuinely faulty.
Looking forward to hearing from samsung india with a favourable response.
