Hi,
I had purchased a samsung fridge in jan 2014.
For the last few days the fridge is not functioning properly and it is not cooling
We called the samsung call centre and they send a technician. The technician confirmed that the compressor needs replacement.
As it's not 10 years since we bought the fridge so ideally the compressor should be replaced for free.
The issue is that we have lost the bill and the store we purchased this from is also closed.
The samsung tech is adamant that he needs a bill to get the compressor replaced.
According to me this is not an ideal customer experience as it is possible that the bill will be lost and it is not in our hands that the store is closed
We need samsung to respond to our query and resolve our issue asap.
Our fridge details given in snapshot below.
Also the technician claims that even if the compressor is replaced for free we have to pay 2200 for the gas refill. This is beyond logic as the compressor is as good as a mere box without gas, so the gas refill should be covered in warranty.
We hope samsung addresses this just in the manner a big brand should respond i. E. Professionally...
