I bought samsung galaxy note 8 on 14 nov 2017. I have faced problems such as hanging of phone, shut down/ restart of the phone on its own, etc. Since the purchase date. I raised this with customer care also. But now this problem is occurring very frequently. I have also observed that there have been many signal problems while using this phone. Signals are very low and most of the times it is not there at all. I raised this complaint earlier also and had given my set for repair on 15 sept 18 and got that back on 22 sep 2018. However, i am still facing the same signal problem and most of the time there are no signals on my phone. Today i. E on 6th october 2018, there have been no signals for many hours and i have faced the problem of mobile hanging, shut down/ restart many times.. During the time of repair, i had used different hand set and there was no signal problem at the same location (S) in the other set. This signal problem is on both the sims i have used i. E one of airtel and one of vodafone but was not there in both the sims when i was using the different mobile. I have raised this many times online as well as on customer care but samsung india has not given any response. Every time they say that the matter has been escalated and you will get the call back but nothing has been done.
I am unhappy with the way samsung has dealt with this matter. My phone is still in warranty and if samsung cannot resolve my problem they should replace it. Note8 is a very expensive phone and if a premium phone like this is creating so much of problem then it’s really bad on the part of the company specially the way they have not responded to my various complaints.
I am feeling very disappointed with samsung india and hope that now this matter will be taken seriously by samsung and they will take the necessary steps to replace my phone.
