- i’ve purchased a samsung refrigerator in the month of april 2017 from vijay sales, ghdobunder road thane. (Vijay sales invoice no. 190-bwg04-17sifpawuf dated 4/04/2017 model rt28k3343r2).
- from the starting only, we were noticing that the refrigerator remains off for about 5-6 hours & then starts working for 1-2 hours & again gets off. Due to this, the cooling was not continuous & the food started getting spoiled in overnight & even my wife & son got food poisoning after eating the refrigerated food.
- when we called the samsung technician, he tried to close the matter by saying that this is new technology where the refrigerator get automatically defrost, however it is not the case as actually the refrigerator remains off most of the time..
- we’ve done enormous follow ups with the dealer m/s vijay sales, but their response & service is pathetic as they’ve not turned up anytime.
- later, on writing at the ceo’s desk email on samsung website a senior technician was sent. He diagnosed & identified that one part (Pcb) which is responsible for regulating the compressor is not working properly & need to be changed. After few days, he changed this part & assured that now the device will work properly.. But there was no improvement in the performance of the device.
- so, i again complained & after enormous follow ups, again the senior technician visited & then again identified the temperature sensor as the faulty part & told that it need to be replaced.. He again came back after few days & replaced the sensor..
- even after this, there is no improvement in the device working & it still goes off for 1-1.5 hours at least 6-7 times in a day & even after not so hot climate presently, we are feeling the food items are getting effected due to insufficient cooling... Moreover, why any newly bought refrigerator would require so much replacement of critical parts???
- it seems that there is some major manufacturing defect in the device, which the samsung team is not ready to accept & as a customer, i am getting suffered continuously.. Otherwise, why any newly bought refrigerator would require so much replacement of critical parts???
- during all these days, no service report/receipt was given to me in writing.. However, i’ve taken snaps of the service receipts
- now we are feeling like we’ve done a mistake by purchasing samsung product as our hard earned money has gone waste.
- as a customer i am highly dissatisfied & displeased with the performance of the product & since it is not working properly even after replacement of 2 critical parts, i need replacement of this refrigerator.
- samsung team is trying to cover up the issue.. Even their customer care people instead of trying to understand the problem, try to confront the facts & starts quarreling over phone only, as if the consumer had done a crime by raising the complaint.
- after this pathetic experience, i am committed to never buy or recommend any samsung product under any category in rest of my life.
