I want to vent my samsung experience because i am too frustrated with a samsung product and their customer service. I purchase a reasonable expensive (Over 45, 00 rupees) note 5 smart phone on 08/24/2016 because i thought it would be better then the ordinary smart phones and i liked the product i had. After one year o[censored]sage exactly on 12/28/2017, i got issues in the screen and i went to samsung service center in valluvar kottam branch, chennai and get it rectified by repacing with dispaly for 10, 500 rupees. After rectified it was working fine for 3 months and exactly on march 28 2018 there was display patches in purple color in my mobile. As a customer i was shocked and suprised (Frustated too), i was little nervous and tried to reach the service center over phone (This was the number[protected] and i tired calling them agagin and again and no response. I am like, i am in the middle of the desert at that time. I was in office doing my work and not sure what action i had to take, later in the evening on the same day 28 march 2018, i called samsung service center 1800 40 samsung and registered my complaint (And asked whether it will cover in the 3 months warranty, the executive over the phone helped me to get in touch with the service center very next day morning to check for the warranty).
Next day that is 29 march 2018, i step into service center and explained the detail, the execute from the center explained me it has passed the warranty period by 1 day, however we will talk to our asm to check whether we can cover in the warrantly and moreover he aslo recommed me to spak to samsung customer care 1800 40 samsung to request to rectify in the warranty period itself. Now from my end i have been trying explain my situation to service executives and the executive finally mentioned that as per samsung norms we will try our best with discount or something for which i am not happy with that. Since, exactly on 90th day the dsiplay got an issue where i was far away from the service center (I was at my office which 24 kilometers away) at the best possible thing i got in mind was to reach the service center over phone if they answered my call and asked to visit the center i might have get the permission from my office and rush to the center but nothing like that happened.
Now, i am extremely dissppointed with the reply from the executive saying that as per norms we will rectify and warrantly period expired by 1 day. I already spent 45, 000 rupees for the mobile plus 10, 600 rupees for the replacement of the display and now again i have to spent 10, 600 rupees means its huge cost for me. So i politely request you to consider my case and please try to do it in the warranty waiver.
