[Resolved]  Samsung India — very bad quality corning gorilla glass used in s8 plus production

I purchased samsung s8plus on 26th november 2017 from a retail store. As per the features it is protected by corning gorilla glass on both the front and back side. Yesterday accidentally my device slipped through my hands and the edge of the screen cracked. The replacement cost is rs.16.500/-. I want a clear justification how come corning gorilla glass 5 crack so easily and even scratches are visible which should not be happening as per the details / tests done on corning gorilla glass 5.

Why is it marked and status is updated..?? I have not received any justification to the false claims made by samsung and corning company.. they claim to be the toughest but here they are... so fragile.. they suck our Rs.58000 and this is what they deliver... very disappointed with both the companies... want the Government and its officials to look into these quality checks as there are numerous consumers suffering same fate... i have been a loyal consumer to samsung till date but never again...!! Local compaies offer better value to money than your screen does... very very demotivaing stuff from both the companies...

No update till now.

Also find pasted below links wherein people have met with same fates with their S8 and S8plus devices.

This is a serious issue and i want others too to join. We paid a heavy price and demand good durability for a phone. new bought devices going for screen replacements is very bad sign for the company. its either they want people to break and replace screens as soon as they buy it and on multiple occasions so as to generate more and more revenue or else they are just dumb and deaf on these matter.

I shall treat this as manufacturing defect. how can such piece of ### can be used to build and sell such premium phones. I shall also escalate this wherever i can especially to Tech You Tubers. They are the one everyone follows and listens to before buying any new device.
