I purchased a Samsung Fridge Samsung 415 L 3 Star Frost-Free Inverter Double Door Refrigerator (RT42B553ES8/HL Convertible 5In1, Elegant Inox, 2022 Model) on 19/02/2023 through Amazon vide Order[protected].

Extended Warranty Details 1 year beginning from the expiry of the Brand Warranty (on entire product)
This fridge stopped working on the 6th Sept 2024 and I called the Samsung service center for a technician to check it out. I use either mobile [protected] /[protected] both sims on my phone. The Samsung Goa service center initially delayed sending the technician. Then, they kept sending multiple technicians who said there was an internal leak and the fridge could not be repaired. Finally, after several calls, I made using one of the two mobile numbers (both at the state and National Customer Care number), I received a voucher for Rs 35047 on 3rd Oct 6 pm. Bill No [protected]. Valid till 31st Dec. This mentions [protected] as the first number, [protected] as the second number, and [protected] landline. But the Service Refund Coupon used the third number (landline)on the Voucher. Landline has been disconnected 7 years ago.
I went to redeem the voucher on 9th Dec at Croma showroom Porvorim Goa. They said it can't be redeemed as it is a landline. An OTP will come to the mobile for redemption. Croma sent an email.
Next day I informed Mr Prashant of Goa Samsung center who said it would take 7 days to change the number and he would send it for approval at the National level. So I called the National Helpline Number and they informed me that this happens at the local level. I called Mr Prashant again and he said it would take 7 working days to change the number. He spoke very rudely to me too. I have recorded both conversations.
On 14th when I called Mr Prashant he informed Croma and me that I need to submit proof that the mobile number is mine. I told them that mine is a prepaid number and so no Bill. They keep calling me on my mobile number and yet they ask for proof that it is my number. I mentioened that both my numbers exist on the Bill sent by them. Have they tried calling the landline number mentioned on the Voucher?
They are giving one excuse after another so the delay tactic is for the voucher to lapse.
I find it hard to believe that Samsung is so inefficient that it takes so long for the phone number to be changed that too when it already exists on the system. It happens with the click of a button as you know.
My husband aged 77 and I aged 67 live on our own in a village and have to go multiple times to stock up in the absence of the refrigerator. I am getting impatient. This is direct proof of harassment of senior citizens. Has the company used this landline number to communicate with me? It has been disconnected for 7 years. So it is a deliberate attempt to nullify the voucher.
