We bought a Samsung tab A7 in Jun 2021
for my child's online education . However, we realised that the tab doesn't support google meet and the microphone doesnt work . The tab is of no use to us if it doesnt solve our purpose. It's been almost one year and we have been filing complaint after complaint.. we have given the tab for service many times but they are not able to solve the issue .
My child's education suffered terribly due to this .
Below is the recap mail that I sent to them:
.This is ref to still pending complaint that we lodged way back starting 22nd aug 2021, when we first contacted your call centre.
Some trouble shooting was attempted over the phone, which didn't lead to any solution.
Subsequently, numerous calls were made and assurances recieved but to no avail.
Another attempt was made on 7th September on your customer service chat.
We paid Rs 199 for the tab to be picked up by your service centre in RT nagar bangalore.
This was returned to us assuring that the issue is resolved.. however we continued to face the same problem, basically nothing was done.
Then again on 23rd September 2021 we raised another complaint . It was again picked up by your RT nagar service centre and again returned with the problem still not resolved.
Yet another complaint was lodged on 3rd October 2021.
Thereafter, we ourselves visited the service centre, where the executive told us that the issue is resolved . He tried to do a live demo, however he understood himself that the problem remained unchanged.
After this we wrote numerous mails to your customer support, but to no avail . They want to treat it like a close and shut case by force.

Apart from this there were numerous phone calls for which there is no record.
The fact of the matter is that this tab was hardly used for 20 days by a 7 yr old for whose education this tab was bought.
As a result of you not finding a solution and neither giving the refund or replacing the tab, our child was forced to use a small screen phone despite having a eye condition of concern.
For your kind information this tablet has been lying at your service centre from the month of October and no one has bothered about this in any way.
We find this attitude extremely unhelpful, insensitive and quiet high handed as if it is our fault that we opted for your product and not your responsibility in any way . As you can see we are writing to you after a long gap as we are tired of this nuisance but not given up on this. We do not want our hard earned money to be washed up like this and ultimately if it is a case of a hapless consumer against a big corporation, then we will not hesitate in exercising our consumer rights.
We would like you to keep customer centricity in mind and care to reply to our concerns which are 100% genuine.
Awaiting your reply with either a replacement by another model or a 100% refund .
