I have purchased Samsung Galaxy M31s in Aug 2020. Little did I know it would turn into a disaster and Samsung as a company would loose my trust on it.
Recently I started facing automatic restart issue like many other users and visited customer care hoping some help. From the Engineer at customer care center, I learnt that the issue is with the power IC and he said since they are not authorized to replace the power IC, they will have to replace the motherboard and new one would cost me 8000 INR.
After a thorough research about this issue on the internet, I could understand that there are many users reporting the same issue. Even at the customer care, there were a lot users with the same complaint and they were updating everyone about motherboard replacement. It is very clear that this is company fault and this series is a failure.
I am very disappointed knowing that I need to pay 8000 INR to fix this issue which is approximately half the price of the phone and also warranty of new motherboard is 90 days only. 90 days is a very less period and there is no guarantee that issue will not happen after 90 days. It would be pathetic to invest 8000 INR again after 90 days in case the same issue occurs.
As a highly disappointed customer, I would request Samsung to extend the warranty of new one to at least 6p months. Also, I want a free replacement of my motherboard as this is clearly an issue from company side and hence EXPECTING A REFUND. Please help me on this as soon as possible.
