SBI Credit Card — payment related issue

I have taken a sbi credit card, in 2012, on lien of my fdr.. I have been paying the bills, regularly and promptly, but due to

Some unavoidable circumstances, per the past few months there was a delay in payments, but paying... The credit card people

Are sending the bill as they wish, instead decreasing the bill amount, they are increasing the bill amount even though i am not using

The card, i have given complaint to customer care, but no use, then i gave the complaint to sbi cards redress cell, they have sent

A mail to me, how they calculate, according to that also, the bill, amount is too high, same thing i have written a mail to them.

They, kept quite, and no reply.. Then finally i have sent they an email, asking them, to send me a mail about the procedure of

Adjusting the bill amount from my fdr.. Again they kept quite, no reply... Sir, i do not what they wish to do.. That is why

I am bringing this issue to you, here i am sending the copies of the mails in between sbi card team and me

Payment related:

We wish to inform you that we have received the payment of rs. 27, 000.00 made by you on 30/08/2017 and the same has already been credited to your sbi card account.

Please find below modes of payment’s and turnaround time for your reference.

1. Pay net - instant credit
2. Debit card - instant credit
3. Online sbi - 3 working days
4. Mobile banking - 2 working days
5. Electronic bill payment - 3 working days
6. Easy bill payment - 2 working days
7. Visa money transfer - 3 working days
8. Atm - 2 working days
9. Otc - 2 working days
10. Drop box - manual & electronic – 3 to 5 working days
11. Neft – 3 banking hours [ fastest, secure & convenient payment channel for making the sbi card payment ]
12. Cheque – 5 working days

Payments made till 3:30 pm via neft payment mode, will get credited within 3 banking hours, same day

A fee of rs.100 plus service tax (As per applicable charges) of 18% will be charged for payments made by cheque for an amount less than or equal to rs.2000 w. E. F. 1st april ’17. No additional fee will be charged for cheque payments greater than rs. 2000.

Charges related:

We wish to inform you that as per your statement 13/08/2017 the total amount due is rs.4, 80, 738.00 which is payable on or before 02/09/2017 and we have received your partial payment of rs.27, 000.00 on 30/08/2017 hence the finance charges with taxes has been debited from your account.

Finance charges:

We would like to inform you that in case the payments are missed or outstanding on the card is received less than the total amount due/ total outstanding amount, then interest charges are applied on the balance amount, thus the payment starts revolving on the account, this is also applicable on all the fresh charges incurred, in the same month by the cardholder.

The finance charge will be levied at 3.35% per month plus government service tax @ as per applicable charges.

Please note that the finance charges will be calculated on opening balance as well as fresh purchases. This process continues till the complete outstanding on your card account is paid in full.

To be used only when there are cash advance charges on a/c –

In case of cash transactions there is no interest free period available at all.

The finance charges are levied at 3.35% per month plus government service tax (As per applicable charges) from the day of cash withdrawal, on a daily basis. The finance charges are levied till the cash transaction amount is paid back in full. (Hence, the outstanding on cash is liable to accrue finance charge for period between the statement date and the date on which full payment is received).

Late fee :

We would like to inform you that in case the payment of at least minimum amount due is not received by the payment due date, the late payment fee is applied subject to a minimum of rs.100.00 and a maximum of rs.750.00 plus government service tax (As per applicable charges).

Please note, the late payment fee will be applicable as per the below-mentioned slab, plus government service tax (As per applicable charges).

Nil for total amount due up to rs.200;
Rs.100 for total amount due from rs. 201 - rs. 500;
Rs.200 for total amount due from rs. 501 - rs. 1, 000;
Rs.500 for total amount due from rs. 1, 001 – rs.10, 000;
Rs.750 for total amount due above rs. 10, 001

Applicable tax (Gst):

We would like to inform you that gst is applicable on all fee & charges (Applicable on interest portion of emi also, if any running).

“applicable taxes” means: · for the cardholders having state of residence in the records of sbi card on the statement date as “haryana” - central tax @ 9% and state tax @ 9% · for the cardholders having state of residence in the records of sbi card on the statement date as other than “haryana” - integrated tax @ 18%

Reactivation of account:

We wish to inform you that as on date your sbi account temporarily stands inactive for usage. Please note that as on date your sbi card account holds an outstanding balance of rs.468, 650.21 payable to us.

We would request you to make the payment of at least rs.96, 007 on your card account for reactivation.

Shows that the outstaiding
Was 4, 52000/- but not 4, 80, 738/- please check the statement

We sincerely regret the inconvenience that may have been caused to you due to miscommunication made, if any.

Outstanding related: we wish to inform you that as per last statement of your credit card account total amount due is rs. 462, 549 and minimum amount due is rs. 65, 204 due date was 2/8/2017 but you paid only rs. 27, 000.

Outstanding related: we wish to inform you that as on date the total outstanding amount on your sbi card account is rs 468, 650.21

Late payment fee: we would like to inform you that in case the payment of at least minimum amount due is not received by the payment due date, the late payment fee is applicable as per the below-mentioned slab, plus government service tax (As per applicable charges).

Nil for total amount due from rs.0-rs.200;
Rs.100 for total amount due greater than rs.200 & up to rs.500;
Rs.400 for total amount due greater than rs.500 & up to rs.1000;
Rs.500 for total amount due greater than rs.1000 & up to rs.10, 000;

Finance charges : we would like to inform you that in case the payments are missed or outstanding on the card is received less than the total amount due/ total outstanding amount or payment received after due date finance charges are payable at the monthly percentage rate on all transactions from the date of transaction in the event of the cardholder choosing not to pay his balance in full, and on all cash advances taken by the cardholder, till they are paid back.

Finance charges will be levied at 3.35% per month, if payable, are subject to levy of service taxes and are debited to the cardholder’s account till the outstanding on the card is paid in full.
In case of cash transactions there is no interest free period available at all.

We would also hereby inform you that the credit limit assigned on your card account is rs. 450, 000.

Please note that the over limit fee is levied on your account due to exceeding the above-mentioned credit limit.

As a service gesture we have approved the transaction on your card to avoid any inconvenience while using your card at any visa accepted merchant outlets which is over and above the credit limit. Please note that if the outstanding amount exceeds the credit limit, however in such situation an over-limit fee is charged on a customer’s account.

Of that i have that i have paid rs.27, 000/- so the out standing will

4, 35, 549, hoe can it become, 4, 68, 650/- even if you put late fee
