SBI — I opened sbi account in rajkot district pushkardham branch of gujarat state and was forced to pay 500 for insurance and asked to deposit of 3000

My name is jismon mathew i recently opened account with sbi and forced to pay 500 for insurance while i asked the manager said its compulsory while i already have insurance and the manager also asked me to deposit 3000 in the new account. Sbi bank notification says minimum balance is not compulsory.
