What a disappointing experience... Wow! I can totally understand now why people have suggested not to buy skoda, can imagine their after sales service experience. I’m happy that i choose not to be one of them.
On saturday, 5th of may i have done an imps of 25k to book a rapid at 20:07 hrs. But since dealership showroom was closed then and next day being a sunday i was told booking will be done on monday. I have requested for a test ride on sunday coz on saturday test ride vehicle was not available. But after taking the test ride on sunday and overhearing know people experience i have changed my mind and choose not to go ahead with booking. Same was communicated and confirmed to umesh who was assisting me with the purchase not to go ahead with the booking and refund my amount paid. I was told it will take 15 days for the refund to be done. Same was also communicated by me via mail. Ref.in trail mail.
I kept following up patiently after 25 days of wait today i was asked to collect the refund cheque. Upon visiting the dealership i was presented with a cheque for 20k where as initial paid amount was 25k. Upon enquiring i was told there is a cancellation charge of 5k which came to me as a surprise coz booking was never done by me and i have clearly instructed umesh not to go ahead with it. All the more shocking part was when i asked them to show me the booking form they showed me a dully filed form with my fake signatures on it which clearly took away the complete trust.
Attached is the copy of booking form with my fake signature, imps transfer receipt for initial amount paid, cancellation trail mail below with no acknowledgement even after couple of follow ups made, copy of my cancelled cheque to validate signature.
I need complete refund of my amount latest by tomorrow or else i will have to seek legal opinion and will be very happy to share my experience publicly and take necessary action.
Trust me this turns out to be the worst experience and faith with which i was waiting patiently for refund is lost forever.
