[Resolved]  Skoda India — overcharging by skoda authorized for periodic maintenance

Hi,

This is regarding the periodic maintenance service of my skoda rapid 1.6 tdi cr diesel manual.
This is the second service post 16, 000 kms/2nd year.
The quote given to me for normal servicing was 10-12000 inr plus taxes on phone. After pick up of my car for service on[protected], the workshop is now asking 16000 plus taxes for normal servicing.
The ideal cost of the 2nd year service or 30000 kms, should be 9300 plus taxes as per the skoda service cost calculator (Screenshot attached). The amount being asked by workshop is almost double what is being captured on the website.

This is not acceptable from a reputed brand like skoda. As per my understanding, the servicing rates should be standard all across the workshops in the city, where a small variation is acceptable.

Please help resolve the issue or help with the alternate workshop and what will be the servicing cost.
