Skoda India — rear door rubber damaged - during delivery of octavia aug 2022 - still no reply from sga skoda coimbatore

The rear door rubber was damaged during delivery of my Skoda Octavia in Aug 2022 and the same was communicated in Nov 2022 via WhatsApp as photos. The Service and sales team have been delaying the replacement ever since as replacement spare is unavailable.

Pls be informed that this damage was brought to the attention of your sales team on 9th Nov 2022 (Refer to Screenshot of our WhatsApp chat regarding this damage dated Nov 2022).I’m ready to produce my chat history to anyone who believes that this damage is only being highlighted in the last few days to prove that this issue was notified on 9th Nov 2022. You may go thru the chat and be satisfied to genuinely understand my concerns regarding this damage. I have been having several other issues with the SGA's after sales support system and it has taken some time for me to bring this up now but that does not rule out the fact that this damage was reported prior to the number plate related issue in Nov 2022. They have been telling us that the spare is unavailable at this moment and will be replaced shortly. I have been waiting for resolution since then but your SGA Team was shrewd enough to take this delay to pass on their responsibility on to the customer and I believe this was sharp money saving move by the care officer. She must be appreciated for being smart enuf to pass on the blame on the customer.

In fact I have started regretting buying your brand vehicle at this cost.I was very happy while I decided to buy a Skoda Product but I’m getting fed up with SGA’s Care Support system for each and every simple after sales service related queries. Every time we have to fight with them to get anything done. If SGA is very concerned about shelling out money for a very reasonable claim of a new product then it only means that they are only interested in selling and making money on each and every oppurtunity they get. I think its time for both SGA and Brand SKODA to develop a better eco-system that makes a win-win situation for both the customer and the companies involved. As a customer who has invested around 4 million on your product, I’m very concerned on the product I have received for the money paid. I don’t want to feel cheated by SKODA nor do I wish to cheat SKODA in anyway.

I genuinely expect Skoda Care to address my concerns on this damaged part replacement. It is over a year now and I expect you to resolve this at once without any further delay or hesitation.
