I am one of the proud owners of skoda rapid. I have been giving my car for regular services to the dealers here in kerala. So everything was going fine until one fine day my car met with an accident and was carried to one of your new service centre in cochin (Manikandan skoda). I gave the car on 14th feb 2017 and i got it back on or after 4 or 5 months, which i don't think is acceptable at all. I have requested for a spare vehicle at this time for my use and they have denied my request every time.
After the service and all the major work was done i got a call from the service centre, informing me that my vehicle was ready for delivery. I went to the service centre to get the vehicle. The first thing i notice on the car was a big crack on the rear tyre which your technicians have not seen (This is happening after i was charged for wheel balancing and alignment) i was really not sure what your guys might have done while doing the above mentioned process and this was also supervised by one of your service centre manager. Upon on checking further i notice two other wheels also with cracks. When i informed the same to the manager he told me that he could replace two for me by claiming insurance, but the third one has to be paid. Agreeing to that i further went on for checking the condition of the vehicle, i was informed that the steering column would be replaced because of the damage and i drove the vehicle for a test drive the same rattling noise was still there on checking the bill the informed that it was not replaced and if i want it to be replaced i will have to wait again for another week.
Similarly there are lots of more complaints that have after the vehicle was delivered to me, for which i don't have the patience to sit and type. My vehicle is ready for the next service and i am really not sure if i have to give to them or give it to some third party multi brand service company. Seriously i have lost the trust in them (Manikandan) the quality of the work that these guys provide is very pathetic. Customers are paying so much to enjoy the comfort of your vehicle and this is what we get after a service. I am really not sure what action would you take, but as a customer i would like to see some changes when i visit manikandan for my next service.
