I am writing to formally escalate an ongoing issue with my Skoda Rapid (Model: Skoda Rapid, VIN: TMBBLFNA4EG013885), which has raised significant concerns regarding its reliability and safety. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this matter through EVM Skoda, Kochi, I have not received a satisfactory resolution, and the issue remains unaddressed.
On 26th October 2024, my vehicle underwent periodic maintenance at EVM Skoda, Kochi, and while I was satisfied with the service provided, the reliability of the vehicle continues to be a pressing issue. Specifically, there are concerns regarding the fuel injectors, which were quoted for repair at ₹65, 000. Given that I have only serviced this vehicle at Skoda-authorized workshops for the past 10 years, it is highly concerning that such issues continue to arise, especially in a German-engineered vehicle.
The repeated failures in the vehicle’s performance, particularly related to fuel injectors, have not only been inconvenient but are also safety risks that I should not be dealing with in a car of this caliber. I have previously communicated these concerns, but the issue remains unresolved. Despite my contact with Ms. Ashlin and Ms. Smriti from Skoda's escalation teams, no significant action has been taken to address this matter.
I would like to make it clear that my expectation for resolution lies with Skoda India directly and not the dealer, EVM Skoda, Kochi. Therefore, I respectfully request immediate intervention from Mr. Piyush Arora and the global heads of Skoda to address this issue and ensure that it is resolved at the highest level.
I am willing to cover any transportation costs for further investigation, as I understand that Skoda may need to inspect the vehicle in greater detail. However, my primary expectation is a permanent solution to restore the reliability and safety of the vehicle.
Please treat this as a priority and provide a timely resolution. I would appreciate confirmation of receipt and an update on the next steps.
