Hi... I had given my Skoda Rapid (KA 01 MN 3529) car for first free service yesterday with Vinayaka Skoda KR Puram. I am here to share my serious disappointment with their service and their innovative way spleecing customers of their money by doing unwanted value added services with out the car owners consent.
I only realised it today after seeing the soft copy of the bill sent by Skoda India, that they have done AC disinfectant and Paint protection charging me approx Rs 1440 incl taxes. And I had no idea about the same untill I saw the bill. When I called the service advisor, he initially defended saying these things are mandatory and after further questioning admitted that it was a mistake on its part.
Secondly, I am sharing few pictures of the interior of my car that was supposedly cleaned after charging me Rs 575 which depicts a sad state of their quality of service.
Thirdly, They are charging an additional 2% for settling the bill using credit card. Which is unheard of in my experience with other Skoda dealers (Tafe Access, Hosur Road) or any other nom Skoda dealer for that matter.
I hope #Skoda India will take appropriate action and help me get my money for which I was charged for the services forcefully or trickily performed with out my consent. And uphold consumer interest and perception of Skoda's after sales services which have been up for question due to a few dealers like these.
