We have purchased the car (Skoda rapid) on 15th september 2015. The battery has stopped working recently and we sent the car for service on[protected]. Now the agents are saying that the warranty will not cover the battery stating that the purchase date was[protected] and hence the warranty period of two years is over. The main joke about this is we even booked the car on[protected]. The issue with the battery itself is a great shock and adding to that we can't even claim our rightful warranty now.
The car is in the service center for 2 weeks now and the agency is playing tricks on us. They said they can change and then informed that they couldn't and now there is no response at all. The battery costs only within 10k and we can't even claim that in the warranty. I can't even imagine what would have happened if something expensive failed.
The company would not even have heard our complaints if the warranty date was even a single day more before the complaint date. But now, we are waiting patiently and typing long paragraphs even though we have the rightful warranty period.
