Hello All, I have taken a loan of 5 lacs against the standard charted credit card with for two years EMI(24 months) I was paying the emi within due date and already paid 15 installments . Suddenly after paying the 15th emi on 11 march one more bill got generated where they are asking to pay me 227, 473.96 before the bill date. i have send them mails many times to get it clarified but they were not able to provide me any clarification why i need to pay that amount. Even i paid the amount of 225, 470.16 and again they are sending me mails that i need to pay the below amount as outstanding. We would like to inform you that, as of this date, there is an outstanding balance of INR 3, 038.80 and INR 10, 468.02 towards your card account ending in 4552 and 3112. Attachinglast 3 statements for your reference . Please let me know if you need any further details from my end

      Messages from bank on settled credit card

      Hi,

      I this is jagadeesh, i used to be a customer of SCB. I went to abroad for job purpose so I didn't close my credit card and didn't use it for more than a year (may be that was my mistake) and they have used my credit card in India.           I'm prajwal from Mysore.
          I got call from standard chartered Bank
          Mis . Mishru pandey for OD LOAN
          I BOUGHT PLOICY OF RS 32, 500/- after that she's told me your od will activate after 18days receiving policy hard copy after your od will come, but Indian first life insurance policy having only 15 days free look cancellation period,
          BUT now the person is not responding as she told me. My loan has been approved. And account will be open shortly and amount will be released.
          She is not receiving my call at all
          So plzz do needful from standard chartered Bank & RBI www.rbi.com

          Your bank officer didn't provided us any application number & any od account
          But she told that get life insurance policy
          And mortgage. To our bank and we provide you 400000/ ( four lakhs rupees )
          With interest of 7.25% p.a

          We have provided her insurance policy
          And now she is not responding to our call.i need help from you please . Seriously take action against this fake selling policy product & send her to jail.

                  I did not exceed my credit card limit still thev have charged me the amount of 890 rs. Without informing. And the never mentioned this thing anywhere. As per the reviews seems like its happening with every scb coustomer.

                    Credit Card unauthorized and miscalculated Credit card charges

                    Sir,
                    I have purchased 3 product in EMI plan through Standard Chartered Bank credit card. My total amount per month EMI will be less than Rupees 2000, but every the bankers sending huge bills with interest rates and late fee payment I am not supposed to pay for that.
                    I have raised complaint to their consumer care, but instead of giving me solution again they are repeating the same with more unauthorized fee amount.

                    I have paided full amount upto nov, 2022. At the time balance is 0. I am raising request upto 3 times to close card but no response.They providing charges for every month.And also they are sending mail ...without pay your credit score will affect. I didn't use card for 3 months. Raised Request also above 3 times.How can i pay for unused card. If they didn't close card that is their mistake. This is not good for customer support. I am sending mail via cusomer complaints forum and online banking. They said only need to pay the amount for unused card.

                      Dear Sir,

                      I have requested for EMI date from 5th to 7th Each month ( I have already informed to loan department at time of disbursement in the month of Nov-2022 itself)

                      I have already requested to Standard Charted Bank many time through mail to extend my EMI Date from 5th each month to 7th each month but request not initiated .My salary credited on every 5th late night and fund available at 6th that day to make payment to avoid penalty or bounce charges

                      After many time request to customer care, no one is responding properly, and this time emi bounce back and charges extra penalty. Thereafter i paid through bill desk for last month emi

                      It also affected on my cibil score due to bounce back .

                      Please requested to change EMI Payment date from 5th Each month to 7th Each for smooth payment on schedule time without any delay and to avoid extra penalty but again and again refusing for the same

                        Payment to NPS Tier 1 account

                        I have made payment of my subscription of rs 50300 to my nps tier 1 account a/c no[[protected]] on 09/01/2023 through online using your payment gateway in NSDL. But i din't get any confirmation of this transaction from nps. I do not get any mail for this transaction but I got message to my mobile and also it is refrected in the bank statement i got the description of this transaction as 09/01/2019- PAYMENT GATEWAY XBCMFIPRU FOR 80CCD(B)...

                        This complaint is regarding the CUSTOMER service of Standard Chartered .

                        I am not able to use my CREDit card and online banking, Calling the bank CUSTOMER service for more than 15 days, they are just giving some common solution and disconnecting the call.

                        Spoken more than 30 minutes on call and last he said he will lodge an escalation email to the department and also given me an escalation email id which is wrong.

                        Today replied on my email again wrong solution.

                        My query is I am not able to use CREDit card and not able to login to my online banking, Now, today in email he is saying the steps how to block my card through net banking. This is ###.

                        They don't even read an email properly

                        I request everyone here to resolve my issue at the earliest.

                          I have an account with Standard Chartered Bank. I had walked in to SCB for ECS cancellation on my account and I was advised to just fill one form to cancel ECS and I did, I was informed that ECS will be cancelled and not to worry but later again I had ECS charges on my account. When I called SCB, they told that they can't cancel ECS as ECS Debits can be on multiple dates in a month and they said I was supposed to fill multiple forms for those specific dates hence there was debits. Am I the bank rep to know the process or Is it the bank representative's responsibility to let me know what has to be done to stop ECS charges ony account? Received call from bank manager of SCB Sadashivnagar but I doubt he was a manager, based on the way of his communication skils. I had sent an email to all the teams possible in SCB like priority head and grivience team in November 2022 but still I haven't received a proper response yet. Is this kind of service they provide to their customers. Worst experience I have ever had with banking

                            Please note i am your savings bank account holder and credit card, holder

                            i had gold rewards credit card
                            about 2 months ago i called the customer care number to know my card details. The customer service agent informed me that i am eligible for card upgradation from gold rewards to manhattan card, she explained to me the benefits and informed after the upgradation i will be charged with joining fee and against that i will receive 5000 rewards points. I have not been charged a joining fee and nor have the points been credited

                            after i raised a complaint about phone banking they arranged a callback from the concerned team. Yesterday 9th november 2022 timing 7.08 pm i received a call from this number [protected] (call recording attached) a lady representative informed me that i am not eligible for it as my card comes under the staff account, i told her that i was working with scope international chennai from june 2007 till august 2010 and i left the organisation. She said read the terms & conditions, but she was not at all willing to understand the and disconnected the call.

                            Please note in your system if they have not changed my credit card from staff to normal customer then it is not my problem, completely your mistake

                            i need compensation for giving false information now you need to give a solution to it, and if you can not let me know your nodal officer email id, i will escalate there and later i need to register a complaint with rbi for harassing the customer without his mistake

                            without any further delay kindly take appropriate action against the relevant representative both customer care who upgraded my card and the person who called me to inform me that points can not be given due to the staff account.

                            You can call me anytime @[protected] if you feel so
                            for the mental torture and fake promises
                            i need 5 lakhh rewards points customer and apology letter for the mistake and delay in the process

                              I am valuable customers of standard charted credit card more then 6 years .I have never face so much issue and you had a good customer support .So i was using my credit card without any hesitation.(For your reference i want to come to your notice that i have other credit card from different service provider)

                              In my whole journey till date i have never defaulter from any credit card or other loan provider .Since always pay my card payment on or before timeline and used to do full payment.(you can check my civil score and card payment history to you or any other bank too)

                              This time i am really very disappointed with standard charted card .In aug 1st i really paid payment to your card to close my both loan account (BT AND LOAN ) .So paid payment after 1st aug i am going around with your customer support team and your sr. supervisor .

                              My intension to firstly clear the things with your customer support and after when they are not capable enough to understand and solve my problem .(as your side extra amount chrged to my card)

                              inspite of from your bank side 2-3 time your supervisor sitting in call centre accepted the same and Assured me resolve the issue and adjusted the wrong amount charged by your bank.

                              Finally hours of call and so many mails there would have no resolve from your side.(STANDARD CHARTED)

                              i also requested for recording from your side, where your sr. customer care aggreging and told to me about wrongly charged amount on my card.

                              I herby declared that Today i paid genuine amount which was liable to me on my card (card no - [protected], I paid rs. 4861/ dated 06 /10/22, as i always do the payment Tilmily)

                              I am writing here that after this payment my standard charted card balance outstanding amount is nil from my side. And there is no liablilty from my side to pay any extra amount.

                              As your old and valuable cusomer i want to continue your credit card in future also.BUt kindly adjust the wrong charged amount from my standrd charted card on immediate basis.

                              i did the all effort from my side in last 2 month to follow your team via call and mail.

                              imp- I am also attaching all mail and trail mail attachment here.(mail wise ) and reffrence no which i have.

                              Looking for a finally revert and solution from your side .Since i am a simple working man and dont have time to long follow you now .I have to feed my family to working in pvt target job.

                                Dear sir, Despite repeated daily complaints to you and to the head customer service @idfcbank, I still got 9 spam mails in 24 hrs from Standard Chartered Bank through [protected]@connevtinboxx.com.
                                Wonder when this Spammer of the First Order will quit their nefarious activities.
