State Bank of India — incorrect form 16

During the year 2016-17 SBI Branch Srinagar (Branch code 00722) deducted Rs 13, 169/- asTDS but are showing Rs3, 636/- only as TDS. I am requesting repeatedly for issuing correct form16 for uploading my income tax return but of no avail. My form 16 may be issued to me depicting correct amount of tax deducted so that I can file my income tax return which is already delayed. Information may please be conveyed on my mail address.

State Bank of India [SBI] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Updated by Ashraf Quraishi Manager SBI Branch Srinagar (Branch code:- 000722) continues to remain silent on the matter and even does not bother to acknowledge the complaint.

Updated by Ashraf Quraishi Manager SBI Branch Srinagar has not responded so far. It appears as if there is no one to look into affairs of the Bank.

Manager State Bank of India branch Srinagar (branch code 000722).
Despite repeated requests since May 2017 I have not been provided with form 16 depicting correct amount i.e. Rs13, 169/- of income tax deducted at source during the year 2016-17 from my pension.
