I am bidyadhar tripathy from brahmapur, odisha. As a customer of sbi my complaint is most of the sbi atm's in brahmapur does not have odia signboard instead it has hindi and english. As per the bank guidelines, local language (Odia) signboard should be there in all banks and bank atm. If you see the sbi atm board, it looks like it is in a north indian state. My question is how a layman can avail your service who can't read both hindi and english. It is responsibility of yours to check that local language should be there in every bank and atm, so that a customer can avail your service effectively.
All bank and atm should have local language (Odia) and english. If you are following 3 language policy, then we dont have any problem, you can add hindi also. But don't kill our language.in odisha, every public sector bank should print odia, english and hindi. But in odisha we are seeing odia is missing in many banks and atm's, then it seems like we dont have any local language and our mother tounge is hindi. Please dont play with customer and citizen of odisha. We respect all languages, but we cant bear if you remove our language.
Please view my application as a positive note and put odia signboards in all branches and atm's so that it will be helpful to your customers. I have attached photo one of the atm in brahmapur. Please check.
Looking forward to your response.
