Hope you are having great day,
I am having a current acount in sbi branch (03650). As i lost my internet banking password and branch is too far from my current location so i have decided to transfer my account, as per my nearest sbi branch i got steps how i can do it.
I followed those steps and sent request to branch to transfer it and customer support told me to wait for 7 days.
Letter sent on 27th july
Delivered on 2nd aug
On 3rd aug i got call that we have got your request for transfer and by the end of day or tomorrow it will transferred (Pretty quick)
On 5th aug i visited destination branch to know the status and result is mind blowing, its not transferred yet. I called the manager for that but he didn't picked up the call.
On 8th he picked up the call and said due to some problem it is not transferred but it will be transferred today.
On 9th i revisted branch and there is no update of transfer : (
I registered a complaint regarding the same and they said wait for 10 days. After 5 days i got a message that your complaint has been resolved..
Resolution "sb account could not be trasferred due to unavoidable reasons. Please contact branch for details at telephone number.[protected]"
Unavoidable reason?? Whats that// i called on the number and he said it is transferred already. On 18th aug i visited for same and he said your account has been transferred and in process. I said can i get my statement and he said we don't have authorization for your cif because its transferred : (
I have registered another complaint regarding the same but that too closed : (
Today i have called again and manager said it is transferred and in process : (Almost more than 20 days : (And customer support is saying not transferred : (
It's really annoying and frustrating i just need my 2016-17 statement : (
