My name is arindam deb. A. G. M. (Tsecl), tripura. All our accounts i. E. Mine, my spouse and my mother, are in the sbi bazar branch, (015806). My mother's is a pensioner's savings account. Whose account no is [protected]. Due to atm facility available we seldom had to visit branch. Now for submitting income-tax return either the savings book is to be up-dated or one yearly statement of that account is required. So curtailing my office time today i reched the branch and approched the b. M. For the same. But i was surprised rather shocked the way he behaved. Very rudely he busted that "no statement is given to savings account and we cannot update the savings account as the machine is out of order and also staff shortage"
Then i asked him submissively that "i have managed to come here with some problems, if he can give me a time for the same and also pointed that he is a sbi branch manager he should know that statements can be given to savings account holders on demand/necessity. Than again he very rudely answered me that"come next week". I am 58 years old and i have never met such impatient, rude, a person with such lack of training to handle any customer and incompetent branch manager before.
