My name is arindam deb. Myself is now posted as additional general manager at tsecl, tripura. All of the bank accounts of our family members i. E. Mine, my spouse's and my mother's are at this bazar branch, dharmanagar (Branch code-015806). My mother is a pensioner having account no [protected].
As atm facility is available, we seldom had to visit the branch for any sorts of banking activities. Now to submit the return of income tax of my mother, either one yearly statement of the account was required or the pass book should have been updated. So, for that purpose i personally managed some time from my office and gone to the said branch today and asked the branch manager for the same. But the branch manager rudely told me that i] such statements are not given to the savings bank account holders and ii] pass-book cannot be updated due to shortage of staff and machine disorder. I then with proper submission told him that this branch has earlier given such statements to savings account holders on necessity and if demanded and also politely asked him when i can get my mother's passbook up-dated at the earliest. He continued to answer me with his rude attitude that 'come next week'.
My age is now 58 and have seen many branch managers of yours. But never experienced such impatient, ill behaved, in-capable (To handle customers,) and un-trained bm before. After being very badly dealt by your bm, i spoke to some other customers over phone of our level about that branch. They also expressed the same view.
