I, mrs bilkis nisar wife of veteran (Ex subedar major) nisar hossain residence of vill-patlikhanpur, p. O - chakpatli, p. S - hasnabad, dist - north 24 parganas, west bengal-743426 reported to sbi taki (Branch code 6867, ifsc code sbin0006867) on 05 sep 2017 at about 1230 hrs for conversion of my mini sb account no [protected] that opened from customer service point (Csp) to a general savings account with an application along with all supporting documents so that i can be issued with cheque book, visa debit card and operate it with full rights as per banking rules. I was standing in a very long queue for more than one hour at counter no 6 approached mr biswajit poddar with my request but he did not accept my application and on asking for it reason he misconducted me. Then i tried to meet with branch manger mr sankar prasad mondal at about 1340hrs who waited me outside his office for 20 minutes as he was engaged in gossip with another casual bank worker mr samir. Lastly i entered in his office along with my son with his permission and told my problems but he also not shown interest to attend me by engaged himself in other works. I urged him to accept my application which he straightway denied saying it is not in rules. Then i asked him what should i do with constrain stipulations for mini account as i am debarring from my actual banking requirements. He replied to close the csp account and open a new savings account which i gladly accepted and requested him to do it as per norms. I was surprised that the bm without doing anything or give me any advice again he engaged in his work on the computer. I was thinking that probably he is doing work for me but even waiting till 1530hrs he said the savings account can only be opened if i invest an amount of rs 10, 000/- on health and accidental schemes. I urged him that as a house wife hardly accumulated nearly rs 30, 000/- throughout the year from my hard works which is need for my essential purpose therefore it is not possible for me to do invest on his choice. Denying his choice by me he refused to open my sb account and issued a direction arrogantly to leave his office.
May i request to the higher authority to investigate the matter thoroughly and take necessary action either to convert my cap account to general account or open up a new savings account by closing my cap account. Was this information helpful? |
