I have visited many branches of SBI bank like Gurgaon, Meera Bagh, Vikas puri etc . Everywhere its the same problem that staff is very rude, highly noncooperative.
I wanted to open my PPF account in Meera Bagh (Delhi) Branch and I have been visiting bank since last 5 days and every other day they are sending back.
One day, they asked my EKYC though I had Adhhar card and all documents reqd and mentioned on form. Next day concerned person is roaming somewhere, next day auditor has come so no account will be open, though in audits it is recommended to have backup If one person is not available, backup should work and next day, computers were not working and so on.
I am also working in office . From 5 days, I have been taking half day leave and still account has not opened.
In Meera Bagh branch, manager named Rashmi Jain is so rude and intolerable that even staff is cribbing but no one can raise the voice. All customers are annoyed but she has deaf ear.. People are making complaint to branch manager but still no improvement.
In other branches, long queues are there because staff is not working efficiently. It is just like a govt branch which is drastically different from private banks where staff is running and helping to get work done in few minutes.
We had very high hopes after Modi Ji has come to power but still SBI bank condition is terrible. My suggestion would be to please authorize other banks apart from SBI for govt related task like opening PPF account etc. Was this information helpful? |
