I have paid my Passport Fees through IDBI Bank DEBIT Card on 05TH MAY 2017. The transaction was failed. Please find attached screen shot for the reference. IDBI bank has deducted the amount and showing in my Debit card statement. As instructed, SBI has to return to IDBI bank within 7days of the failed transaction. It has not happened as of now.
The passport Seva Kendra is advising to send email to SBI customer care. I sent email. No reply from SBI. Passport seva kendra has given phone number[protected] . i tried this number around 100 times sofar. It is either busy or nobody is lifting the phone, just ringing. whom to blame now? Is sbi is having such bad process and infrastructure in its core banking? Mr. Modi is asking everyone to for digital transaction. Even people with highest computer literacy are struggling to get back our paid amount. what will happen to illiterate people?when i spoke to customer service at passport kendra, they are telling it is SBI issue and they have to resolve. To whom i need to contact now to get back my amount. very bad experience and don't know about SBI & Passport office taking a joy ride on their customers in India.
Please reverse and refund the money asap.
