I work as a senior consultant with one of the leading MNCs in Bangalore and had always kept SBI in high regards. I have a long association with SBI and my brother-in-law holds a very senior post in your Mumbai HO.
However, this impression was quashed due to the arrogant attitude of one of your employees.
I had been to your LHO, St.Marks Road, Bangalore this evening for opening a PPF account. Was directed to counter no. 13 and asked to meet Ms.Shilpa for assistance. I was pretty disappointed with her approach and the service she rendered. Found her extremely rude and possessing only half-baked information about the subject. When ever a query was put forth, she was consulting other officers for help. I wish you employ people who could provide decent customer service.
It is so unfortunate that in this era where your positioning in the market depends on the service you offer, employees like this fail to value and treat customers with respect!
Sorry SBI. You lost me as a customer! Nor do I think will suggest SBI as my favoured bank.
