State Bank Of India [SBI] — Refund of amount paid towards passport fee | |||
I have paid my passport fees through dena bank rupay debit on 27/05/2017 & 28/05/2017. The transactions were failed but dena bank has deducted the amount and showing in my accountstatement. As instructed, sbi has to return to dena bank within 7days of the failed transactions. It has not happened as of now. The passport seva kendra is advising to send email to sbi customer care. I sent so many emails. No reply from sbi. Passport seva kendra has given phone number[protected]. I tried this number around 500 times. There is no customer care nor any helpline to take responsibility of this. No emails are being useful for me. It is either busy or nobody is lifting the phone, just ringing. Whom to blame now? Is sbi having such bad process and infrastructure in its core banking? Mr. Modi is asking everyone for digital transaction. Even people with highest computer literacy are struggling to get back our paid amount. What will happen to illiterate people? When i spoke to customer service at passport kendra, they are telling it is sbi issue and they have to resolve. To whom i need to contact now to get back my amount. Very bad experience and don't know about sbi & passport office taking a joy ride on their customers in india. Please reverse and refund the money asap.
