Subject:request for refund of extra money
I have paid my passport application fees through central bank debit card on 4th april 2017. The transaction was failed. Again i tried for the transaction on same day. This transaction also failed and total rs.3024 were deducted from my account (Rs. 1512 per transaction). As mentioned on the website sbi has to refund the money back to central bank within 7 days of failed transaction. But it has not happened till today.
I have visited regional passport seva kendra but they are telling me to call on toll free number[protected]. After calling on toll free number they are telling me to contact sbi. Also, as instructed on website, i have sent 3 e-mails to customer care on 7th april, 14th april and 7th may respectively. Passport seva kendra has given phone number[protected]. I tried to call many times but didn't get any response.
I am a college student and unable to understand what to do next.
Please help me out by refunding extra money rs.3024.
