I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my SBI credit card. SBI Card recovery agencies have been calling and threatening that they would disrupt my credit score if I do not make the payment. When I request them for a statement they are not even trying to help me. It is unfair to ask a customer to make the payment for something which he never spent.
The card was last used prior to April 2015. Outstanding payments were made for the transactions. Meanwhile card was lost and I called your customer care to BLOCK the card. Please note card was never used again from April 2015.
However, I get a surprising statement last month for Rs.5, 530 and SBI Card recovery agencies call me and demand Rs.6, 300.
Why there was no intimation from April 2015 for any pending payments?
Why there were no statements sent from April 2015 for any pending payments?
Why no interim calls were made to notify any discrepancy or pending payments?
I have no intention of holding any money which I have spent thru' your card. At the same time I am not ready to make any payments for something which I never spent. Now I am applying for housing load and worried that CIBIL score might hurt my efforts of securing a loan. Was this information helpful? |
