I had applied and received sbi credit card 4 years back, after receiving card i did not activated because i did not like the service.
I inactivated the account. After 4 years i am receiving statement (Through sms and email) from sbi saying amount is due.
I reached customer care they confirm that account is inactive and no transaction done from my side.
Customer care asked me to send a mail stating the problem, i sent a mail to customer care and received response saying annual charges applicable for card. While issuing card they said no annual fees applicable on card.
I escalated to nodal officer as well but there is no response. (Interaction id - 1-[protected])
Points to be noted
1) whether card is active - no
2) did i swipe the card - no
3) did customer care people called me regarding outstanding amount - no
4) whether they included annual charges for first 3 years - no
5) whether customer care people reached me to keep the account active - no
6) did customer care people really tried to hear and resolve the issue - no
7) got response from nodal officer after escalation in stipulated time - no
